Merri Outreach Support Service is a community based organisation that has been actively assisting men, women and children experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness since 1989. The service strives to work together with people using the service to assist them to overcome their personal issues and barriers to social, emotional and financial independence.

In the wake of COVID-19 and maintenance of social distancing, MOSS has a reduced office presence and has scaled back home visits. Please do not visit the office. New service models and ways of providing support are being implemented. MOSS remains committed to continuing to support clients who are experiencing homelessness and housing vulnerability. Existing MOSS clients should contact their support worker(s) directly on their mobile. Office landlines may not be monitored and messages attended.

If you are not a current MOSS client and are seeking support around homelessness call your local Access Point in the North and West Metropolitan Region of Melbourne on 1800 825 955.

If you require support around the coronavirus go to dhhs.vic.gov.au/coronavirus or ring the dedicated Hotline on 1800 675 398.

If you are experiencing family violence you can contact Safe Steps on 1800 015 188 or dial 000.
